Book Car TintingMost of our car customers are commuters. If you spend an hour a day on the Beltway, Route 50 or Branch Avenue, the sun hits the same side of your face and the same seat every single trip. Full-car tint drops the cabin temperature you climb into after work, keeps the dash and seats from fading and cuts the glare that makes the evening drive home tiring.
Rideshare and delivery drivers book with us for a different reason: passengers notice. A tinted back seat feels private and cooler, and it hides whatever is in the car between rides. We tint a lot of Camrys, Accords, Altimas and Priuses for exactly that reason.
Maryland allows 35% on every window of a passenger car, including the rear. That is dark enough to be clearly tinted and private, but light enough to see out of at night. Some customers ask for darker on the rear. On a car registered in Maryland, we will not do it without a state medical exemption, because the first inspection or traffic stop turns it into a repair order and a removal bill. Read the details in our Maryland tint law guide.
Your car is washed first so nothing on the outside of the glass gets dragged inside. The interior glass is cleaned and clay-barred. The pattern for your exact model is plotted and cut on the machine, the rear piece is heat-shrunk on the outside of the glass to match its curve, then everything is installed on the inside and squeegeed out. A full walkthrough is in what happens at your tint appointment.
Yes. Front doors, rear doors or quarter glass, and the rear windshield, all for $108 on a sedan, coupe or hatchback.
35% on every window, which is the darkest shade Maryland allows on a passenger car. Lighter shades are available if you prefer. We will hold samples against your glass before we cut.
About 90 minutes to two hours. Cars with steeply curved rear glass, like many coupes, run toward the longer end because the rear piece has to be heat-shrunk to fit as one sheet.
Yes, though factory tint on a car is usually light enough that the rear windows still benefit. If you only want the fronts done, call and we will price it.
No. Any passenger car is $108. The only vehicles that need a quote are SUVs, vans and trucks wanting more than the two front windows.
